Antique 18th-century Italian painting. Oil on canvas, first canvas, artwork depicting a religious subject, Saint Anthony of Padua with the baby Jesus, with good pictorial quality. An oval painting adorned with a non-contemporary 20th-century carved and gilded frame, beautifully decorated. The artwork depicts the baby Jesus standing on a table with a lily in his left hand (see photo).
The details of the book and the skull at Jesus' feet are pleasing. The painting has undergone conservative restoration, with small areas of color restoration, a replacement of the stretcher, and a small patch on the back (see photo). This artwork has a beautiful patina, suitable for antique dealers and collectors, and is in good condition. Internal dimensions: H 53 x W 43 cm.
