French frame from the first half of the 20th century. Louis XVI-style piece of furniture, made of wood and plaster, finely carved, gilded, and chiseled. The frame can hold a painting or mirror with the following maximum dimensions (rear recess: H 81 x W 70 cm). A beautifully sized and striking piece of furniture, it can be positioned either vertically or horizontally by moving a special hook, making it easy to place in different locations throughout the home. The frame shows small signs of discoloration, but is structurally sound and solid, and is in overall good condition.
