Great mid-20th-century Tuscan table. This piece is of excellent quality, carved and chased in the Renaissance style, featuring floral motifs, zoomorphic elements, and grotesque masks; it is crafted from walnut, beech, and patinated softwood. The table is supported by imposing lion-paw feet, with a central cross-stretcher—also finely carved—that further enhances its stability. It features a spacious, highly functional tabletop, making it ideal for a dining room. It could also serve as a desk (without drawers), offering a striking visual impact and great utility. Substantial and notably heavy, this table is well-suited for antique dealers and interior designers. It possesses a beautiful patina, is structurally sound and solid, and is, overall, in good condition.
